How did you get into real estate?

After deciding that being an actor wasn’t going to be for me, I decided to join the family business. So at 20, I began my real estate journey. The rest, as they say, is history!

Look at pretty houses all day, go for leisurely lunches, basically what you see on an HGTV real estate show.

Run the most exciting, fulfilling, and hardworking real estate team.

Dive in 150% whenever I chose to work with a client.
My clients become my family.

I’m most proud of my clients celebrating the experience of buying and selling with me. It makes this career worth every second.

Appreciative. It never ceases to amaze me how thankful people are for the work that we do for them.

He made my entire experience from start to finish feel so easy.

What is your favourite part of your job?

The never-ending changes and new challenges that come with that first phone call from a new client.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

Renovation and home design. Red wine and interesting food! My dog/son Winston and my family.

Who I am is reflective in every part of my business. Being authentically me, I believe is one of the best assets my clients benefit from.

How did you get into real estate?

I discovered my love for real estate when I made my first real estate investment and purchased a triplex at the age of 24.

People think I just sell / buy houses!

I help people find HOMES! A home is an enjoyable, happy place where you can live, laugh and learn. It’s somewhere where you are loved, respected, and cared for. When you look at it from the outside, home is just a house. But it’s actually a place where people create their future and next steps in life.

What do you do differently than other people who do the same thing?

I have great listening skills, am very informative and my attention to detail is outstanding.

How do clients feel when you do what you think is your best job?

They feel happy, thankful and very appreciative.

I’m passionate, knowledgeable, and very responsive with communicating.

What is your favourite part of your job?

Meeting new people and creating new relationships!

Spending time with family and friends.

I also have a hidden interest in home decorating and design.

Compassion for my clients and I’m very considerate of their concerns and problems.

How did you get into real estate?

First real job was in a real estate office in Toronto, and then I spent many years in management and customer service. My mom was in real estate and it seemed like a natural fit.

I am a matchmaker. There is nothing that matters more to me than making the perfect match.

Cut through the bull. Helping people truly discover what they need. Long before they have figured it out.

Always inspired by others in the industry, and after working many customer-facing careers it was the most natural fit for me.

After 40+ years it seems the only thing people think I do is sell real estate.

How did you get into real estate?

My experience as a military wife, and my 9+ Military moves, has given me a solid knowledge of the buying and selling process from a consumer’s perspective.  I have always wanted to turn it into a career.  After 21 years as a Nurse my love for helping others paired with my caring and passionate attitude and my strong desire to nurture  seemed like the perfect fit for real estate.

What do people think you do?

I think most people think we just show someone three homes and at the end of the day they pick one, like on TV.

What do you think you do?

I am an investigator, detective, info seeker and a collector of data.  I find out all of the information about a property to ensure the clients have all the information they need to make the best choice for their family.

What do you do differently than other people who do the same thing?

I do it with heart and compassion.  I have walked in their shoes and I understand it can be a life changing experience to move.  Having the help of someone who understands this can make all the difference.

That I am knowledgeable and have their best interest at heart. I am dedicated, family oriented and love what I do.

That I am a good listener and made them feel like they have known me for years which made it an enjoyable experience.

I am an avid reader, love to cook, passionate about travel and the ocean is my happy place.

Our homes are a perfect balance between passion and function.  I like to learn what is important in a person’s lifestyle so that we can incorporate these features into our search criteria; like a chef’s kitchen or a reading nook.

How did you get into real estate?

My first job at 10 years old was delivering newspapers, I read the comic strips and the real estate section and that same interest has never waned. I never questioned if I would get into real estate, it was only a matter of when. My career path has always led me in the direction of helping people and providing exceptional service. I wanted to pursue something I’m passionate about, and real estate was the obvious choice for me.

How did you get into real estate?

I have moved from town to town multiple times over the years and purchased and sold several properties.  I learn something new each time as a Buyer, Seller, and Investor. By happenstance, my husband and I met Connie Carson as the agent on duty at RLP about 4 years ago. Several dozen properties later, and some up’s and down’s, Connie and Julie Carson helped us find the one. They teamed up again recently to help our eldest son realize his first home buying experience. We couldn’t be happier. Helping others experience the same joy, ease and understanding is what brought me here.

I think people think I am at my desk all day answering phones, drinking coffee, and typing at the computer.

I like to think I’m partially what I said previously and that I am available to the team and clients at any time whether I’m at the office or on the road. I do my best to fulfill their real estate needs and wants, as well as keep everything up-to-date and well organized.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, my 6 yo mini Aussie, time outdoors and enjoying nature, gardening, going for a walk or swim. I also like to settle down to a good book, a hot cup of coffee, a great movie/tv series, or sketching/painting in my studio along with an eclectic taste in music.

How did you get into real estate?

I worked in a Real Estate office for a year while going to College for Legal Administration. Then years later when the job with the same company became available I applied and was hired right away, it’s great walking into a job when you already know everyone.

I think people would say I sit and look at interior pictures of new listings all day while drinking coffee with my feet up.

I work closely with a fantastic team of professionals to ensure the closing process goes as smoothly as possible while providing exceptional customer service.

Family means everything to me, I love love love spending time with my grandsons. I have been working on my family’s ancestry for over 30 years and have over 15,000 people in my tree. I love to travel, especially if it’s to do research on my Ancestors. I also love spending time with friends.

How does that passion show up in your work?

Attention to detail when researching genealogical records is key to having an accurate ancestry tree. I apply that attention to detail to all our Clients as well.

My best friend of 50 years would say I’m loyal, fun, empathetic, easy-going, and sincere.
